Frequently asked questions
How is GPA calculated?
Multiply each course's credit hours by its grade points, add them up, and divide by the total credit hours.
Which grading scale does it use?
The common 4.0 scale: A is 4, B is 3, C is 2, D is 1 and F is 0. The plus and minus option uses values such as A- = 3.7 and B+ = 3.3. Check your own school's scale.
How do I work out my cumulative GPA?
Enter your current GPA and the credits you have completed. The tool combines them with this semester's courses.
Does it work for WAEC or other exam grades?
No. It is for the 4.0 scale used by many universities. It does not convert exam grades.
Are my grades saved?
Only in your own browser, so you can come back to them. Nothing is uploaded.
