Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply when you use francislandford.com, which is run by Francis Landford. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. How your information is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Using the site
You may use the site for lawful, personal or business purposes. Please do not try to break into it, overload it, scrape it in bulk, send spam through its forms, or use it to harm other people.
Content and ownership
The articles, courses, lessons, quizzes, designs, code and other material on this site belong to Francis Landford unless stated otherwise. You may read them, share links to them, and quote short extracts with credit and a link back. You may not copy and republish whole articles or courses, resell them, or pass them off as your own without written permission.
Names, logos and trademarks of other companies belong to their owners and appear here only to describe them.
Accounts
Some features, such as courses, certificates, the community and downloads, need an account. Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell me if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. I may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Courses and certificates
Courses are for learning and carry no guarantee of a particular result, job or income. A certificate shows that you completed a course and passed its quiz on this site; it is not an official qualification from a school or government body. Access to a course is for you alone, so please do not share your login or the course material.
Paid products and software
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by the payment providers you choose, such as mobile money services and PayPal. Software is licensed to you, not sold: a licence lets you use the software as described on its page, and does not let you copy it, resell it or share your licence key. If something you bought does not work as described, contact me and I will do my best to put it right.
Free tools
The free tools run in your browser and are provided as they are. Please check the results before relying on them for anything important.
Community and comments
When you post a question, answer, comment or message, you are responsible for it. Be respectful, and do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, hateful or spammy, and do not share other people's private information. You keep the rights to what you write, and you allow this site to display it. I may edit, hide or remove content and block users who break these rules.
Live sessions and bookings
Dates and times for live sessions and consultations can change; I will tell you by email if they do. Replays, where offered, are for your own learning and may not be recorded, copied or republished.
The chatbot
The Ask My Portfolio chatbot is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, so please check anything important, and do not treat its answers as professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
Links to other sites
This site links to websites and services run by other people. I do not control them and am not responsible for their content or practices.
Advertising
The site may show ads, including ads provided by Google. Ads are not endorsements, and I am not responsible for the products or services advertised.
No guarantees and limits on responsibility
I work to keep the site accurate, secure and available, but it is provided "as is", without promises that it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, Francis Landford is not responsible for losses that come from using the site or relying on its content, apart from anything the law does not allow me to exclude.
Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept it.
