JavaScript for Beginners: Make Your Web Pages Interactive

A free, hands-on introduction to JavaScript: variables, conditions, loops, functions, arrays and objects, then using them to react to clicks and change a web page, finishing with a small working project.

JavaScript for Beginners: Make Your Web Pages Interactive
HTML gives a page structure and CSS gives it style. **JavaScript** makes it come alive: menus that open, forms that check themselves, calculators, games and everything else that reacts to what a visitor does.

In this free course you will learn the core ideas of JavaScript step by step, with short examples you type and run yourself, and then build a small interactive project. You only need a browser and a text editor.

Finish all six lessons and pass the short final quiz to earn a certificate.
Take the *HTML & CSS for Absolute Beginners* course first, or be comfortable creating a simple HTML page and opening it in a browser.
